Weekend with the fam...
So I have decided to start making this more of a journal than just showing events. I am sure that is what a lot of people use it for, but I am just figuring things out, obviously. Anyway, we had a fun time this weekend and were able to spend lots of time with family...
Friday night because my brothers were both camping, we went out to Tepanyaki with my parents. It's where they cook the Japanese food right in front of you. Anyway, we have gone one other time with them and its so funny because the guy always picks on my mom. It's like they know ahead of time that she will laugh at EvErYthiNG they say. He kept scaring her the whole time and making jokes about her... and she just takes it! It was really fun and the food is delicious!! My dad was too afraid too ask someone to take the picture(or maybe I was) so he ended up taking the picture and you can barely see the side of his face..oops!
So-here is my belly finally poking out at 21 weeks!! I swear this just happened in the past few days but all of the sudden I feel huge..I know there is a lot more to come but for right now I am feeling like I am really big! I am all dressed up because we were going to the temple with Matt's brothers fiance. It was such a great experience! They are getting married on Friday in the Idaho Falls temple! We are so excited!!
Here is the front view...it even looks kind of large from this view- or I just think it does! Pregnancy symptoms right now: Im finally I think completely over being sick. I was sick until about 15-16 weeks and still smells made me sick, but it is getting a little better at this point. Im feeling the baby kick(or move) a lot which is fun. I felt him at about 16 weeks and then it would be here and there for a few weeks but now its a few times a day!! Other than that, not much else is changed!...Oh I can sleep anywhere, anytime and love it!
So, this is Tyson's girlfriend(he has 10 months left of his mission). She is going to China to teach in schools for four months, so she came to say hello and goodbye! It was so fun having her over, and we hope she will stick around when she gets back from China for a few more months until Tyson gets home! I really don't know what Tanner is doing in this picture but he always likes to be in the action!
Another picture of all of us before Meighan left!

ULTRASOUND!
Okay, so we had already gotten an ultrasound done about 5 weeks ago and found out it was a boy, but he looks soo much bigger in these pictures! I love them. He actually looks like a little baby in this picture!
This is more of the full body shot with his legs and everything. She said his hand was resting on his forehead. He was moving soo much when we were watching him.
This is his arm...and then YEP he is a boy!!
I think he was getting sick of being pushed on, and so was I! I had a little issue during the middle of the ultrasound all of the sudden everything started going black and I felt like I was going to pass out. I didnt know what to say because she was just yacking away about the baby, finally I said, I think Im going to throw up. She was like hurry lay on your side, and Matt picked up a garbage can and watched me throw up for a few minutes. It was really special! Anyway, she said sometimes when you lay on your back and have someone pushing down for a long time it cuts off the blood supply to your head. It was not a fun experience, but now I know I don't think I will be sleeping on my baCK!! But, regardless the baby looks great and it was such a fun experience!!Monday, July 7, 2008

ITS a BOY!!!
So...we have had an awesome week this week. Wednesday we went up to Idaho for some appointments and to get some things done for school. Matt's aunt is in charge of x-ray/radiology at the hospital so we went up there to see if we could find out the sex of our baby. Sure enough..we found out we were having a boy!! It was probably one of the coolest experiences watching the baby move around, he even waved at us! I dont think Matt could stop smiling after we left, and we were both so happy the rest of the day! Anyway- definitely one of the coolest experiences we've had together. Then, we drove all the way down to St. George (southern utah) the next morning for matt to play in a basketball tournament. It was way fun, but I am glad to be done traveling and to relax a little bit. I will scan the pictures of the ultrasound soon. :)

WERE HAVING A BABY!!!
One more quick thing that I forgot to mention is that we are going to have a baby!!! I am about 13 1/2 weeks along and do have an ultrasound, but I'm too lazy to scan it, so you'll have to wait until the baby is a little bigger to see it!!! I am due December 8Th!! The only problem with this due date is that Matt has a game on December 8Th in Wisconsin. I am a little worried, but I think everything will work out!! We are SO excited for this opportunity to be parents and couldn't be happier!!!
Well, for Memorial Day Weekend this year we went to IDAHO! yay... Friday night we went and stayed at Matt's parents in Pocatello, and on Saturday we got to see his little sister(Annie) go to Prom!!! Misty(my sister-in-law) did her hair and make-up and she looked soo pretty!!!
After Annie and her date left, we all decided to take some pictures of the girls who helped her get ready!!! My new sister-in-law to be, Sarah, is sitting right to the right of me! Her and Matt's little brother are getting married August 1st..yay! Misty is right above her! The rest are aunts and cousinS that came down to see Annie off!!!
Sunday we went up to Idaho Falls with my mom's family. They have big traditions of visiting all of the graves of relatives and cleaning them off. I have only been once before and not even to the whole thing, so it was a really cool experience to go. My grandpa has done all of his family's geneology and has stories about everyone in this Grant Cemetary! This is the grave where both of his parents are buried, my great granparents.
So, after a while, we did get a little bit bored of walking around the cemetary..as you can tell.
This was day 2 at the cemetaries, and we decided to take a little break from walking around.
