What I love

I decided that I love to move.  Maybe it's not a good thing, but I don't think it's a bad thing.  When Matt decided to go to school up here, it wasn't even a question if I would or could handle it, of course I was going to go to a new place.  I keep thinking of all of the places that I have lived and people I have met in those places.  Had I not moved, I would never have had those experiences and met those people.
I love it up here.  It's probably not my choice in where I would want to live when we "grow up" but I have met some fantastic people and there is quite a bit to do with kids, and it's so close to so many trees and hills!  We'll see if I still love it when the winter rolls around!
I love this baby inside my belly.  I think there is nothing better than laying in bed at night and feeling her little kicks (kind of big kicks now).  I think it is crazy how fast a mom can get attached to her baby before they are even born.  Although I am actually really scared to think of having another, I can not wait to meet her!
I love skype! :)  One thing that is hard about moving and living away is not being able to see family!  The one thing that has got us through last year (And going on this yeaR) is being able to talk to family on skype, mainly--them being able to see Colton!
I love the church.  I love that no matter where we have moved, we already have a group of friends and people that care about us and support us!
I love the two men in my life!  I can't imagine life without them and am so glad that no matter where we move or will move, they get to come along :)

I don't know where that little tangent came from, but I'm pregnant and I have LOTS of feelings :)

Since I have been sooo bad about taking my camera ANYWHERE,  I have taken a few pictures around the house!

Our little neighborhood park :)

Funny story...I went to a girls night and left a little before Colton went to bed.  Us girls were talking about how the dads weren't as responsible as we were and that they didn't look after the children as well as we did.  We were kind of just joking around, but kind of serious.  Anyway, when we were about to leave, I looked at my phone and had a picture message of Colton (WAY worse than this one) of a bloody cut down his eye with a bruise around it.  Matt said, he fell off the chair when I was in the other room, and took it like a champ.  I had to laugh because we had just been talking about it!  This picture doesn't look bad at all, I just think it's funny because I kept saying close your eyes and show me your owie, and he was proud of it!

Fall is here!

The weather has been SOO awesome, this might almost be my favorite time of the year when you have to pull out the long sleeves and some comfy sweats...the only bad part is when you have a child who jumps sizes of clothing every 3 months so you have to go buy ALL new stuff :)
Anyway, I am really enjoyng Moscow and staying Really quite busy!  They have activities every day at the library, park, swimming pool and Colton and I are making the most of this semester doing as much as we can, because I'm afraid next semester we won't be getting out quite as much!  I am enjoying this time I have to spend with him and Love every second of it.  He is my little buddy and I feel like he is changing so much every day!
Colton is back in his crib, and while we are waiting for the crib tent to get here, we met a little device so that he can't escape---I felt like a horrible mom at first, but he's back to his normal sleeping so I really think it was for his own benefit!
Matt is doing good.  He is one busy boy, I don't know if I could study 10 + hours every day, but he seems to be enjoying it.  He always makes time for us and Colton is starting to get excited when he comes home, he points at the door squealing and says "Dad, dad!"  I love it!

Anyway--- I am going to get out and take some fun pictures before Winter hits :)

21 weeks!!!

Well...here I am at ALMOST 21 weeks! I have been feeling a little bit better, but seriously I'm still throwing up---I guess girls have A LOT of hormones!

Anyway, we have actually been VERY busy since moving to Moscow (Matt is a little bit busier than Colton and I of course, but we have managed to find Lots to do!)

We have met a TON of awesome people! Our apartment complex is so full of kids and great people it has been fun.

Colton has FOR sure been keeping us busy...I don't know if this is just too big of a change for him but WOW!

About a week ago after we put him to bed, in comes Colton to the living room...WHAT? Over and over and over he climbed out of his crib. So...that night, we decided he had to be ready for a toddler bed, so we converted his crib into THIS:

Well, a week later and NO sleep for any of us unless he is in bed with us and even then it is tossing and turning, we decided he probably isn't quite ready for the toddler bed. My wonderful aunt is sending me a Crib Tent...I'm crossing my fingers it works!

Tonight we got a pack n' play from someone thinking maybe he would like it because that's what he has lived in since he was 7 months old. Matt made a little trap so he couldn't swing his leg over as easily..sure enough seconds after we put him in, he was out! Basically, our only hope is the crib tent!!!

Other than having really ROUGH nights, he has been SO fun during the day! He is getting quite the little personality...starting to finally talk a little bit and is such a good helper around the house. My mom sent a little package with a bunch of little plastic animals (like 50 of them) GREATEST gift ever! Every morning he runs right in to play with them...and it entertains him for Hours throughout the day!

He needs to work on opening his eyes when he smiles :)

Nope...I didn't get ONE with eyes open!!
Anyway-- Moscow is in such a pretty area! Over the weekend...Matt was able to spend a little more time at home because its 3 days!! We went on a hike with some friends in the most beautiful forest area..and I didn't bring my camera! We ARE going again when the leaves start changing colors!
One other thing I am Enjoying about this year (being in America) is FOOTBALL. We still miss being in Germany (and I always will :( ) But...there are definitely perks of being here :)
Anyway-- we are loving life!!! ----ok as soon as we get some sleep ----

Moscow

First of All.....we are having a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second of all...we made it to Moscow, Idaho after a long day of driving and are all unpacked and settled in!

My parents and brother Tanner came with us and helped us get all moved in (thanks goodness, or we would probably still be unpacking)

While they were here we took a trip up to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho (it is beautiful)

Here are a few pictures from our day

The pirate ship (dinner and a show)

At my parents house before we left
My grandma came into town the day before we were leaving, so she took some good-bye pictures

We will miss them...and Colton already does!

After leaving Utah, we went up to Island Park with Matt's family for the weekend and had a great time! Lots of tubing and laying by the lake!
Monday we got our moving truck, and loaded it all up, we were supposed to have a dolly to tow Matt's car but it wasn't there yet, they said it would be in by Tuesday @ 8 when we were supposed to leave. Tuesday @ 8 rolls around, and we are all packed and ready to go and the dolly is not here. After waiting for 3 hours, I called another company and got a dolly, so we didn't end up leaving until noon!! I was not very happy. Anyway, it was a long day but an absolutely beautiful drive and Colton watched his DVD player the whole way and was an angel-- so that made it greaT! We got into Moscow at about 11 at night and unloaded the WHOLE truck that night...haha. Matt had been sitting in the car WAAy too long and just had to unload it right then!
Anyway, since then things have settled, Matt has already been gone A LOT, and I have a feeling he is going to be gone a whole Lot more, but our ward is great, the community seems great and there are a lot of women in the same boat as me :) (with a lot of kids)
We are excited to start our new adventure for the next few years of our lives!!! Wish us luck!

Summer has Come and Gone...

We are headed out to Moscow, Idaho in a little over a week and I can't believe the summer is over! I have been so excited to move to get settled into a routine and everything and now I can't believe it's here...and I'm feeling sad once again for moving Colton away from all his family!

I have had NO desire to blog. I have been SO sick and still am but I think I'm on the uphill slope (hopefully)

However, although I have just wanted to do nothing, we have managed to have a pretty fun summer :) The sad thing is, I have taken 0 pictures in about 3 months-- lucky for me lots of other people have so I was able to get their pictureS!!

Just last weekend my grandparents were here and did a photo shoot of Colton in the backyard...

He LOVES the hose!

My parents live near the airport, so every time an airplane goes by, Colton shows us.

We got ONE cheesy smile out of him!

He had a milkshake mustache he thought was Pretty cool!

We also took a trip to Island Park with my dad's side of the family...

This is the ONLy smile he gave to anyone there, it's his nervous smile!

Carli, my, mom and I and my cousin and Aunt hanging out on the dock!

Matt skiing, Colton LOved riding on the boaT! He even got to go on his first jet ski ride!

The Awesome cabin we stayed in!!

The next weekend, my cousin Tenille got married! SHe became a Stucki too ;) Colty waiting @ the temple!

My mom helped decorate, her colors were Zebra and Hot Pink-- SOOO cute!

The next weekend was the 24th of July...a big deal here in Utah- Pioneer Day! We got up EArly to get good seats at the parade, Colton sat here just like this the ENTIRE 3 1/2 hours we were there and watched the parade!

The float our stake did was AWESOME! My dad was partly in charge of it and him and Matt, and Tanner went and worked on it a ton!

We also got to go to the Days of 47 ROdeo..this is the only picture I got, but it was a lot of fun!

We have been SO BLESSED this summer with parents willing to let us live with them and let Colty run around their house..I am sure my mom will be so glad when her house is clean again Always...but I am sure she will be missing him too!

We are so excited for our new adventure...I'm just secretly wishing it was MOscow, Russia instead of Idaho ;)
