HaPpy FaTherS DaY!

First of all- I had to put this picture up:) Colton hasn't been around a lot of babies his age so it was kind of fun(not that they noticed each other) Regardless-I thought it was cute! This is Brailyn (the daughter of one of Matt's coaches) She is a month and a half younger than Colton. They had fun grabbing toys out of each others hands!
Next--Matthew. Happy Fathers Day to my husband! He has had one of the busiest schedules since becoming a new dad. 3 Days after Colton was born, he had to leave for a basketball trip for a week. I would send him picture after picture from my phone. Every time he was home, he would spend as much time with the little guy as he could. Now-they get to spend a whole lot more time together. I know Colton is going to look up to his dad because of the awesome person that he is! I always laugh because all of the neighbor kids come over and ask if Matt can come play basketball with them, or hang out..kind of weird, but at the same time it makes me glad to know what an influence he has on those kids!

And happy fathers day to my dad!! I always look in my baby book, and it says how much I always wanted my dad when I was little. He is someone I have always looked up to! I should give him all the credit in the world for me getting a basketball scholarship. I don't think he ever turned down an opportunity to go shoot with me, or even just rebound for me! He was my coach in everything I ever played! He has always encouraged me in everything I have done. One thing I am very grateful for is how much he has made Matt feel a part of the family! I always tease them that they like Matt more than me:) Anyway, I am grateful for his influence in my life, and glad that he is Colty's grandpa!!

Morning Walk

Colton's favorite place is probably the jogging stroller. He got to attend my jogging class with me quite a few times, and now we have been going on walks every day. This morning, I went with my cousin Tasi, and there finally weren't clouds in the sky:) We went earlier this week and it started raining, and I didn't really care so we just walked in the rain. Anyway, we got home and of course I took some pictures because he kept kicking back and putting his legs up on the stroller-and of course I thought it was funny. Anyway-here is Colton when we got done with our walk:) ANd yes, I left him in his PJ's.

More fun...

My big boy Colton:)
Travis and Matt at Tepanyaki! We went to celebrate Travis's graduation!
Me and baby Colty at Travis's graduation!
Who knows what Matt was doing?
Here is our little family with the new grad! He is going to BYU in the fall:)
Me and my hubby
My parents with Colton! I think they like him just a little;)
So-no this is not Colton's first haircut. Actually it's probably his 5th or 6th, however I finally took pictures of him getting one cause he was so nice and seemed to love it..weird?
I love this one...getting his face all squished!
Waiting patiently
Matt has had the opportunity to babysity Colton this week, and for the next 3 weeks in the morning while I am at school. Colton doesn't look to happy! Matt thinks he is teaching him wrestling moves...reallly Matt???
Standing ALLL by himself...looks like it
And the twinners (I know we are kind of weird about matching outfits, but I think it's cute)
Naked baby in the tub! His new favorite bathing position
I had to get the little chunky booty picture

I don't really feel like writing much, were going to Colton's 6 month check up tomorrow-I can't believe he has been here for a half a year! We are still waiting to hear about going overseas--so until then we have NO idea what we are doing. I am kind of the opposite of that and really like a plan, but I am dealing with it and trying to be more of a spur of the moment type of person:)

Fun Stuff!!!

The last few weeks have been a little crazy...but also a whole lot of fun. I finished my oral examinations this morning-and passed!!! I got a little emotional, but got through it and feel soo soo relieved to be done. Now--starting next week I have just 4 more weeks and I am officially done! Although I have spent a whole lot of time working on my orals these past few weeks..we have managed to have some fun also! I love this picture of Colton and I, and in our twinner outfirst:)
We had the opportunity to go to Matt's little sister, Annie's graudation last week! Yay!! She is such a smart girl and is going to BYU in the fall!
Here she is with her diploma:)
I had to throw this picture in here..I think his hair is hilarious. My mom has already cut it 3 or 4 times and it just keeps growing like crazy! I haven't cut it for a while and want to see how really crazy it can get!
This picture is definitely out of order, but Tyson came home from his mission!!! YAY. He loves Colton and I think Colton kind of likes him too:) If you can see the background...we had a party celebrating my graduation and Matt's and Travis's and Tyson coming home! We had a dance and ended up dancing for a couple of hours. Sooo fun. My mom also got a chocolate fountain and had the whole backyard decorated with Tiki torches and umbrellas from my wedding. She knows how to decorate..and how to throw a party!
All I have to say is..unbelievable. They had been standing down there forever playing Guitar Hero World Tour for way too long...
Just for fun:)
The whole clan at the airport after Tyson got home!
First family picture in 2 years!
Daddy and Colty;)

So...as we were driving down to the airport from Idaho, Travis called and asked what Matt was wearing--I didn't even think he would really try and dress like him, but sure enough, he showed up in the same outfit as Matt. I think we were all a little giddy that day that Tyson was coming home. Travis and Matt are best buds!
And this was little Colty waiting for Tyson to arrive as well...
We also got to go to the IDAHo Falls Zoo a few weeks ago...I was so excited to go thinking that Colton was going to notice all of the animals and be so excited to see them, but this was not the case. He was happy...but didn't really notice the animals. Also-if you can tell in this picture his eyes are a little red. I bought some sunscreen that I thought would work just fine for him, but a few minutes after I put it on his entire face had red spotches, and his eyes were watering. I felt so bad, but he didn't seem to mind!
We went to the zoo with my old roommate Rachel and her husband Chad and their little boy, Paxton. Paxton his 2 months older than Colton and they didn't notice each other a whole lot, but I think eventually they will be friends:)

All in all, we have had a great couple of weeks full of lots of family and friends!
