So much to do...so little time

Well..we have been enjoying time with family the past couple of weeks! We have been up with Matt's family this past week and got to go to Bear Lake and take Family PictureS! We are enjoying every moment we have to spend with family and friends :)
Here is Grandma Sari playing with Colton with his shades on. He loved the water and loved the sand between his fingerS!
Matt, Andy, and Brandon being nerds!!
Matt and I
The girls:) Sarah, Misty, me, and Annie!
This has become Colton's favorite place to be..in his turtle in the water! We have taken him to the pool at my parent's house which is heated, so I didn't know how he would like the cold lake..but he loved it!
Everybody played Ultimate Frisbee in the shallow water near us..
Colton playing in the sand

My studdly little boy
Travis came with us for the weekend (my brother Tyson and his girlfriend Carli came up for the first day too) Anyway..so here we are trying to catch some rays (even though I had gallons of suncreen on) We don't look like we are from the same family because I am so white.
This is Matt AFTER being buried in the sand...
And there he is...

We also played Wiffle Ball (sp) and it was Hilarious trying to run the bases through all the water!

Okay--so onto our CUTE family pictures! I am so excited because we got family pictures with Matt's family and then in a week we are taking them with my family!! Lots of fun pictureS! These all turned out so cute, I could have put all 200 of them up..but I had to resist. Colton LOVED everyone talking to him getting him to smile, it was so fun.
Matt and Colton's favorite game!

Germany..here we come:)

Before the hair cut...
And after...my handsome little man:)
Mom and Colty
We found this outfit a couple of months ago-and he has been waiting to wear it. Matt Said Only a baby is allowed to wear this, I think it's soo cute! (a little big still)

This is the funniest picture I have ever seen..his feet look reeeally big
So- we are headed to GERMANY for Matt to play basketball professionaly. We have been contemplating if we should go or not for the past couple of days and finally decided to go for it. Anyway, here is my brother Travis and I waiting for Matt to sign his contract..obviously we were a little bored.
Here he goes...
So--I am cheesy and wanted us all to take a picture to remember this moment.

We are leaving in 3 weeks, so we have a ton to do before we leave. YEs..i AM extremely nervous, but upon making this decision, I decided I will be happy no matter the circumstances. Matt is excited to play ball some more, and I am excited to see other countries (something I have never done before)

Being gooofy

All I can do is laugh at this picture!! Matt's mom has a wonderful camera..so we were playing around taking different pictures, anyway- Colton has this new smile (this isn't even has funny as it gets) He squints his eyes and makes his mouth go out as wide as possible. It is HILarIOus!

He occasionally throws out his old smile with his big mouth (I miss it)
Girls Night! Mikkel and Colty. He got to come to the first part of Girls Night while dad was working out...and of course he got all the attention in the world:)
All of us girls. So we are officially moved completely out of our apartment and Idaho:( I have met some great friends there and have loved my 5 years spent there!! I am not as sad as I would be because Matt's family still lives there so we will have Plenty of opportunities to stay there! I think I was mostly sad to put all of our stuff in a storage unit--pictures, Colton's cute crib and bedding, lots and lots of my clothes..etc. I guess we will find out hopefully in the next couple of weeks if we are going to be taking that stuff out of the storage unit or leaving it in there for another year! For now--we are just enjoying our time

Movin' out

I am struggling with blogging right now! So so much has gone on in the past few weeks!! I am officially 100% done with school:) YAY!! I must say, it has been such a great year, and so worth going to school, however, I am so glad I am done and I don't have to think about papers and presentations! Here is our journey through pictures from the last couple of weeks....
First of all-the many faces of Colton (I had about 30 pics like these, but tried to resist putting every picture that is taken of him on here) You can see his teeth--he got one about a month ago, and another one last week!
He started doing this thing where he squints up his whole face and blows out of his nose (he gets it from his dad)
Happy boy;)
I set him up on the couch, and since he WILL not bend his legs because he always wants to be standing, here he is all by himself with the support of the couch.
Another one of Coltons new interests are his feet. Actually-for the past month he gets excited when he sees his feet...or really anything. Sadly, these next few pictures of him were the only ones that I got from my surprise birthday party. My dear husband took me on an adventure all day before my birthday telling me that I could not know our next destination. I was not a good sport, and wanted to have the day planned. First, we woke up and he said we are leaving in 30 minutes, we went out to breakfast with Colton (he was a wild man and breakfast wasn't like it used to be) Then we got home and he said get in the car--we're going somewhere else. So-we drove down to the good old Pocatello zoo and had a nice stroll around (which Colton liked much better) Then...we came home to put Colton down for a nap and Matt told me that our next activities did not involve Colton. My mom showed up at our apartment and off we went. We drove out to his parents house where the 4-wheelers were waiting for us. We got to go on a ride up in the mountains and look out at the beautiful sage brush below! (hehe it was pretty) Then, we raced back to his parents (I won) and got BACK IN THE CAR for another adventure. We drove back into town and stopped off at Outer Limits(laser tag/arcades/mini golf/food), and walked into the place and SURPRISE...my whole family was there, and Matt's family as well as Mikkel and Abby, and Logan and Lisa Kinghorn. We played Laser tag with all of us...and oh my we were all sweating by the time that was over! It was such a cool set up they have in there and a whole lot of fun. After playing games for a while we headed over to play volleyball for a couple of hours with everyone and have pizza. Anyway--I give Matt an 8 out of 10 for surprises. He was acting a little too sketchy all day, but pulled it off in the end. He is a great husband and is always doing things to make me happy:)
Now that I am done with my novel story, here is my brother trying to feed CoLtOn a doughnut-
Going fast forward a week...I got done with school and we headed down to Utah for a week of R&R. We went out to the spaghetti factory.
Tanner and Tanner (cousins)
My date, Travis...AKA Uncle Tuvy.
Now on to the lovely 4th of July. We got Colton all dressed up in his USA hat and new outfit, and SAT AT HOME! It was wonderful and we loved it. We played Harry Potter Clue (excellent game), Wiffle ball, and had some great steaks:)
Just had to throw some more pics of my little man in...
Matt, Colton, and "favorite uncle tanner" Everytime he says that phrase to Colton, he smiles like no other (except in this picture)

Playing dress up again with Colton.
This week we are moving out of our 2nd apartment together. Kind of sad--especially because we have no home to move to- Our lives are kind of in limbo right now, waiting for what is going to happen in the future, but we are enjoying it!!
