What I love

I decided that I love to move.  Maybe it's not a good thing, but I don't think it's a bad thing.  When Matt decided to go to school up here, it wasn't even a question if I would or could handle it, of course I was going to go to a new place.  I keep thinking of all of the places that I have lived and people I have met in those places.  Had I not moved, I would never have had those experiences and met those people.
I love it up here.  It's probably not my choice in where I would want to live when we "grow up" but I have met some fantastic people and there is quite a bit to do with kids, and it's so close to so many trees and hills!  We'll see if I still love it when the winter rolls around!
I love this baby inside my belly.  I think there is nothing better than laying in bed at night and feeling her little kicks (kind of big kicks now).  I think it is crazy how fast a mom can get attached to her baby before they are even born.  Although I am actually really scared to think of having another, I can not wait to meet her!
I love skype! :)  One thing that is hard about moving and living away is not being able to see family!  The one thing that has got us through last year (And going on this yeaR) is being able to talk to family on skype, mainly--them being able to see Colton!
I love the church.  I love that no matter where we have moved, we already have a group of friends and people that care about us and support us!
I love the two men in my life!  I can't imagine life without them and am so glad that no matter where we move or will move, they get to come along :)

I don't know where that little tangent came from, but I'm pregnant and I have LOTS of feelings :)

Since I have been sooo bad about taking my camera ANYWHERE,  I have taken a few pictures around the house!

Our little neighborhood park :)

Funny story...I went to a girls night and left a little before Colton went to bed.  Us girls were talking about how the dads weren't as responsible as we were and that they didn't look after the children as well as we did.  We were kind of just joking around, but kind of serious.  Anyway, when we were about to leave, I looked at my phone and had a picture message of Colton (WAY worse than this one) of a bloody cut down his eye with a bruise around it.  Matt said, he fell off the chair when I was in the other room, and took it like a champ.  I had to laugh because we had just been talking about it!  This picture doesn't look bad at all, I just think it's funny because I kept saying close your eyes and show me your owie, and he was proud of it!

Fall is here!

The weather has been SOO awesome, this might almost be my favorite time of the year when you have to pull out the long sleeves and some comfy sweats...the only bad part is when you have a child who jumps sizes of clothing every 3 months so you have to go buy ALL new stuff :)
Anyway, I am really enjoyng Moscow and staying Really quite busy!  They have activities every day at the library, park, swimming pool and Colton and I are making the most of this semester doing as much as we can, because I'm afraid next semester we won't be getting out quite as much!  I am enjoying this time I have to spend with him and Love every second of it.  He is my little buddy and I feel like he is changing so much every day!
Colton is back in his crib, and while we are waiting for the crib tent to get here, we met a little device so that he can't escape---I felt like a horrible mom at first, but he's back to his normal sleeping so I really think it was for his own benefit!
Matt is doing good.  He is one busy boy, I don't know if I could study 10 + hours every day, but he seems to be enjoying it.  He always makes time for us and Colton is starting to get excited when he comes home, he points at the door squealing and says "Dad, dad!"  I love it!

Anyway--- I am going to get out and take some fun pictures before Winter hits :)

21 weeks!!!

Well...here I am at ALMOST 21 weeks! I have been feeling a little bit better, but seriously I'm still throwing up---I guess girls have A LOT of hormones!

Anyway, we have actually been VERY busy since moving to Moscow (Matt is a little bit busier than Colton and I of course, but we have managed to find Lots to do!)

We have met a TON of awesome people! Our apartment complex is so full of kids and great people it has been fun.

Colton has FOR sure been keeping us busy...I don't know if this is just too big of a change for him but WOW!

About a week ago after we put him to bed, in comes Colton to the living room...WHAT? Over and over and over he climbed out of his crib. So...that night, we decided he had to be ready for a toddler bed, so we converted his crib into THIS:

Well, a week later and NO sleep for any of us unless he is in bed with us and even then it is tossing and turning, we decided he probably isn't quite ready for the toddler bed. My wonderful aunt is sending me a Crib Tent...I'm crossing my fingers it works!

Tonight we got a pack n' play from someone thinking maybe he would like it because that's what he has lived in since he was 7 months old. Matt made a little trap so he couldn't swing his leg over as easily..sure enough seconds after we put him in, he was out! Basically, our only hope is the crib tent!!!

Other than having really ROUGH nights, he has been SO fun during the day! He is getting quite the little personality...starting to finally talk a little bit and is such a good helper around the house. My mom sent a little package with a bunch of little plastic animals (like 50 of them) GREATEST gift ever! Every morning he runs right in to play with them...and it entertains him for Hours throughout the day!

He needs to work on opening his eyes when he smiles :)

Nope...I didn't get ONE with eyes open!!
Anyway-- Moscow is in such a pretty area! Over the weekend...Matt was able to spend a little more time at home because its 3 days!! We went on a hike with some friends in the most beautiful forest area..and I didn't bring my camera! We ARE going again when the leaves start changing colors!
One other thing I am Enjoying about this year (being in America) is FOOTBALL. We still miss being in Germany (and I always will :( ) But...there are definitely perks of being here :)
Anyway-- we are loving life!!! ----ok as soon as we get some sleep ----
