Party Animals

So, We heard that the University of Idaho was a party school before we came up here-- like big time.  I thought, we are married with a kid, that is not going to affect us.  However, little did I know all the married with kids people like to party too, just in a different way--and I love it!  There are SO many activities it's crazy!  From game nights, to birthday parties, in fact- parties for every holiday or event, girls nights, dinner invities,  you name it, they do it!   Here are some pics from last weekends' Halloween party...more to come this weekend :)
Bevyn, Colton, and Kardynn

Colton thinking he is quite the stud around all these girls!

I think these are the CUTEST pictures!!!

Rachelle, Alyssa, and I.  It's so fun to live so close to them and
our kids love to play together, they make the weeks without Matt fly by!  Oh, and I am a basketball--haha.  Matt and Colton are basketball players (I think it's the last time I try and be creative having us all dress alike, it just didn't quite work out..oh well, I'm pregnant!!)

We have also had some fun birthday parties...a few nights ago it was Colton's little friend Koston's 1st birthday party.  Liesl (his mom) is SO crafty, along with everyone else around here.  Anyway, she decorated so cute I had to capture the cuteness :)

We also managed to get a picture of the kids sitting all together not crying!  I think they are all pretty dang cute.  Jay, Colton, Eli, Bevyn, and the Birthday Boy Koston!

I am SO grateful for the awesome group of girls that I have met.  Matt's school worked seemed to pick up a ton in October and I don't think there has been one night where he hasn't studied long after I went to bed, and that is after putting in an 11 hour day at school already!  He said it's going to pick up even more in November, so I am bracing myself!  Anyway, I'm glad I have gotten to know some fun girls to keep me sane!  I still do look forward to Sunday's ALL week knowing Colton and I can have Matt all to ourselves for one day :)

Stucki's come to town!

Last weekend, Matt's parents drove up here from Pocatello to see us!  It was awesome.  I was wondering if Colton would REALLY remember them, and at first he was a little timid, but by the time they left he was running around the house yelling for his grandma and grandpa, wondering where they went after only 3 days!

Matt's mom has a great camera, so I thought we could take some pictures of our little family!  I didn't really want to pay to get them done being pregnant, because I will most likely want pictures next spring with our family of 4...and I thought she did a great job!

We also went to this beautiful place on campus, The University of Idaho Arboretum & Botanical Garden
They have trees (and usually flowers) from all over the world planted!

Matt's parents were also able to come see Colton's Oh So exciting swim lessons!  They get to play for 30 minutes to an hour before class and then a 30 minute class.  I was so excited Clair brought his swim suit so he was able to get kicked in the stomach by Colton during the class instead of me:)   Colton is quite the dare devil when it comes to jumping off the edge, and he Loves to go underwater!  I'm hoping next year he'll be able to do the class without me!

Colton and Kardynn play so good in the shallow end before the class, including dumping water all over each other and cracking up!
Anyway, it was SO nice to see them for a few days and to have a break from our noraml routine.  We got to go out to eat (which we haven't done ONCE since my parents left after bringing us here), go shopping, and entertain Colton!  Thanks so much for coming, it was great!!

P.S. Did anyone else notice my pregnancy ticker is under a 100 days??? By a week!!

What a week

Our week: The good and bad

-Colton finally got a hair cut as you can tell from the above pictures :)  It wasn't as traumatizing as it looks!
-We got to go to "Play dates" for Colton every day this week, which he loveS!
-I worked out 5 days!!
-It was Matt's Birthday-- the big 27!!!
-We got to go out to dinner, just the 2 of us, while my friend watched Colton :)
-We have dinners we are going to yesterday, today and tomorrow--So no cooking for me ALL weekend!
-My belly POpped out (At 24 weeks), don't know if that's good or bad?

HOWEVER

-Matt has studied an average of 14 hours a day (Really, maybe even more)
-I started to get Leg cramps and restless legs and can Not sleep!
-Colton decided no matter what time he goes to bed, he is going to wake up early (Early for me is 7-730)- lucky for me it's getting dark early, so I'll be putting the boy to bed @ 730!

Some exciting news, Matt's parents are coming to visit this weekend and I realized it's been 2 months since we have seen family-- we are SO excited!  I hope Matt is able to take a little time off studying to spend with us all :)
