In the meantime, Matt and I have both read quite a few books (we got some new ones for Christmas) One in particular, Three Against Hitler.
Ok, of course I learned about Hitler and the Nazi's in high school, and then I moved to Germany and got to go to a concentration camp and see for myself what went on, but it wasn't until after I read this book that I realized what a terrible time it was for everyone- and the lives that they lived, in fear. Anyway, the book is about 3 Young mormon boys who stood up for what they felt was right. And it was Excellent!
Colton has been growing and learning something new every day. He is really into "Sharing" his toys. OK, maybe just with me, but I end up with piles of toys/random objects in my lap all day because he comes and delivers them to me :)
Ya- I dressed him in high socks and shorts!
My boys playing on their computers...nerds
In Matt's last game he got elbowed in the head, and this was the result. 3 staples in his head- and he got them put in right in the middle of the game...intense!
Doesn't look too bad now, but really does he have to be that unhappy??
Anyway, I am getting excited to go home in a few days. I have been kind of sad about leaving Matt/Germany. I keep thinking we only have a few months left here and I should make the most of this experience, but it's only 3 weeks.... My friend, Sylke is coming with me for the first week and a half, so I am excited!! #1 to show her around and let her meet the whole family and #2 To have someone on the plane one way to help walk Colton around :) YAY!!
