I have been wanting to write something about us leaving Germany for the past couple of days...but I don't know where to begin.
I have such mixed emotions about leaving this country we now call home. It has been kind of a roller coaster the last few weeks, but even moreso the last couple of days. And I am so sad to say we are moving back to the states TOMORROW!
Basketball has actually meant a lot in Matt and I's life. Obviously, it paid for our schooling, it is the reason that we were able to meet eachother, it is the reason we were able to come to this beautiful country....and now it is the reason we are leaving...
There are Way too many good-byes to be said in 3 days-- but we are trying!! We are SO grateful for this amazing opportunity that we wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Thanks to everyone who made us feel that Germany was our home and made us feel like family. We will never forget you!!
More to come...much more to come!

Wow you guys are going home!!! I bet it is hard to say goodbye, but at the same time excited for the next adventure in your lives... We too think we are going home, wish we were leaving tomorrow too.. but we have a few more months of rugby.. Well so exciting.. Good luck moving home and all.. Excited to see where you guys end up next!! GOOD LUCK!! : )
I hope you understand what i tryed to say. It was easier for me to express in german. Take care of you guys an good luck! I will follow your way here!
Anonymous said everything i feel when i read Matt laeve the MBC. Raeding your Blog from the moment you start your adventure in Germany was like be a part of it. I will follow your journey here and wish you, Matt and Colton all the best!!Annett
I loved reading this blog (too) and I feel a little bit sad, that you left Weißenfels so early. I wish you all the best.
